The study investigated the relationship between terms of employment and teacher’s attrition in private secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. It specifically examined at finding out the relationship between remuneration packages, job security, medical services, leave packages, teacher attrition, job satisfaction and teachers' job performance in 9 private secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. The study was guidedby four research questions and four hypotheses. The research design used was the descriptive correlational design. The population of this study comprised all 1890 teachers in all private secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. The sample for this study comprised 300 teachers in private secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State who were selected using Proportionae Random Sampling Technique. A self constructed questionnaire titled terms of employment and Teacher Attrition Questionnaire (TOETAQ) was used to collect the data for the study and the data collected from the sample were used to test the stated hypotheses using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) statistical technique. The study found a significant relationship among remuneration packages, job security, medical services, leave packages, teacher attrition, job satisfaction and teachers' job performance in private secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State The study recommended among other things that; private school owners should ensure that teachers are well remunerated and entitled to allowances that will motivate them and give them reasons to stay on the job. The efforts should also geared towards ensuring that adequate welfare services like health care, housing and car loan among others are regularly provided for teachers in order to improve on their general well being.
