This study focuses on bound morphemes in respect of prefix affixes, infixes, suffixes, and how they are employed in Al-Qasim bn Ali Al-Hariri’s book’s “Maqaamatul Hariri” (Arabic Rhythmic Prose). It is also aimed at investigating the frequency of the appearance of some selected affixes and their denotations in some selected Maqamats (sittings). For this purpose, only five “Maqamats” out of fifty have been selected by systematic random sampling with a distance of six Maqamats in-between every ten to anlyse these items through Descriptive Analytical Method. The research treated the Biographyof Alqaasim bn Ali Alhariri and his book “Maqaamatul Hariri”. It is also examined morphogical items such as: prefixes, infixes, suffixes as well as dual affixations and their donations. The findings from the research include: (i) The most frequently used affix in the five selected Maqamats that consist of 5256 words, is the prefix “al”, (The definite article “the”). It appears six hundred and eighty nine (689) times with a percentage of 13.11%, while the lowest in appearance is “Sinut-tanfees” (The future tense), which appears three (3) times (0.06%). (ii). The affix that appears most from infixes is At-tadh’eef, (Reduplication). It appears Ninety (90) times (1.71%). And the lowest is Ya-ut-tasgeer appears eight (8) times (0.15%) (iii) The most common affix among the suffixes is Haudhameeril-gaaib al - mufrad Al-muzakkar (The third person masculine singular). It appears 294 times (5.59%),while the lowest suffix in appearance is nunun-niswah (The Plural feminine pronoun), as second/third person appears two times only (0.04%).
